2001 Preseason PETA cookout

This is a series of photos from the pre-seasons PETA (people eating tasty animals) cookout in the parking lot of the St. Paul Saints. Even though most of us are season ticket holders, it's fun to get out on the day that single-game tickets go on sale and make sure everything is ready for the regular season.

Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us. It turned out to be about 50 with a 20mph wind and grey skies. At least it had stopped raining.

The gang. We'd circled the vans to try and cut the wind some. Didn't really help.	Pete's Justin Varitek-autographed car. Justin played with the Saints during the 2000 season, and is playing withing the Mariners organization this year.	Considering the weather, this was a pretty good turnout of folks waiting to get tickets. There were even a few other groups with grills set up.
