- Ftrain.com is an interesting experiment of a website. The structure is different in a good way.
- I wish I could say I was feeling less disappointed than usual.
- Free-lance writers win Supreme Court case
- Assume the worst about privacy policies and customer profiles. As an auditor, you reach the conclusion that it's pretty awful out there. The invasions of privacy usually stemmed from ignorance, although in a few cases the companies were truly evil.
- Gender differences show up in email. I'm pretty sure I don't fit the ''typical male'' profile for email.
- What men and women look for in sexual partners. The important first impression? Men want good looking women who are interested in them. Women want ambitious guys who smell right.

- But before worrying about the UN, I made some tasty Hot And Sweet Kebabs to eat. I think I'll end up adjusting them to be a bit hotter, but they were pretty tasty.
- U.N. Wants Global Gun Ban explains the basics, as does IANSA's UN 2001 Conference on Small Arms. The spins are a trifle different, though.
- The U.N. Targets American Gun Owners, since we are the rootin'-tootin'est six-gun-shootin'est country on the planet. Or something like that.
- The TRT wants you! The Tyrrany Response Team is part of the group planning a protest at the UN Summit.
- July 9 is gun burning day at UN, which seems like a better day for the protests, but it's not on a weekend.

Simple mechanical necessity declares that if you have principles you want others to follow, then you'd damn well better express them unambiguously and follow them yourself. That's all I've ever done. It's all I'll ever do. And I guess that's what makes me a ''radical''.

- OK, so I did the bad thing and made my router non-routing for a while. Sorry for the outage.
- SoYouWanna.com helps you accomplish things. Like the So Ya Wanna site I put together, but with a lot more content.
- The Definitive BIOS Optimization Guide might help those with machines where you can play with that sort of thing.
- Steve Gibson chronicled The Attacks on GRC.COM. Interesting.
- I'm pretty sure I'm glad I don't live next to The Radioactive Boy Scout. But back in the college days, my friends Bob & Greg talked (and wrote a composition paper) about how many smoke-detectors a guy would need to build an atomic bomb, so I found this pretty interesting.

- I added a pizza recipe to Dave's Recipes.
- Museum 'Grossology' exhibit is good 'n' gross - Opens 2. June at the Science Museum of Minnesota.
- FuckedWeblog tracks weblogs that have ceased publication.
- The font of all personality sounds familiar for some reason. From about two or three years ago. I wish I could find the earlier reference. But they do miss the point that the vast majority of email is plain-text, so the font is up to the person receiving the email.
- Traffic makes us sick and tired. As if that's a surprise. The annoying thing for me is that the suburbanites who are moving back into the city are driving up housing prices now. Bleh.
- Cubicle Party is a flash application thingie. But it made me laugh a couple times. Warning, it's got sound, so pop on the headphones if you're in the office.
- Zeldman's site was six yesterday. Huh!
